Makers of Lawrence's Rudhran unveil its second look, announce the film's release date, details inside

Sometime ago, the team of Rudhran had released its action-packed first look, featuring actor-filmmaker Raghava Lawrence in it. The first look posters also revealed that the movie will release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam in December this year. However, they did not mention the exact release date.

Now, they have come up with the project's second look along with the theatrical release date. The poster which has been released in all the south languages has Lawrence seen sitting on a comfy sofa with a bottle of liquor in his right hand. 

An unknown person is seen beside him in a lying position and a couple of more bottles are spotted on the floor. Like the first look poster, this one, too, seems to be clicked from an action scene. Rudhran is Lawrence's first movie as an actor to release in the pandemic era; it will hit the screens on December 23. 

His previous film was Kanchana 3 which had him wielding the megaphone, too. Kathiresan, who has bankrolled Rudhran under the banner of Five Star Creations, is making his mark as a director as well with the movie which has GV Prakash composing music for it. Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the female lead in the project.

Sarath Kumar and Kaali Venkat among others essay crucial characters in the movie which has cinematography and editing by RD Rajasekar and Anthony respectively. KP Thirumaaran has penned the story and screenplay for the film which has stunt direction by Stun Siva and Vicky. 

Sridhar has helmed dance choreography while Raju is in charge of art direction. One of the highlights of Rudhran is expected to be the remix of the popular old song Paadatha Patellam Padavanthai from Veerathirumagan which was released six decades ago.
