Makers of Ravi Teja's Rama Rao On Duty to choose a release date between March 25 and April 15

The release date of Sarath Mandava's Rama Rao On Duty, starring Ravi Teja in the lead, was announced as March 25 a couple of months ago. However, with the release plans of movies going haywire recently with the third wave of the pandemic hitting the country, many films are coming up with new plans.

The much-awaited theatrical release date of RRR has been announced as March 25 yesterday. Following this, the makers of Chiranjeevi-starrer Acharya, Mahesh Babu-starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Pawan Kalyan-starrer Bheemla Nayak, too, came up with different announcements on their release dates.

Now, the team of Rama Rao On Duty, which had initially locked March 25, is considering April 15, too, for its release. The social media handle of SLV Cinemas, which is producing the movie, announced the same with the post, "We love our film. At the same time we have immense respect on other films. We slated Rama Rao On Duty for release on 25th March 2022. But due to latest developments, we intend to release our film either on 25th March 2022 or 15th April 2022.     

If the film is releasing on the first date, it will have a clash with RRR. On the other hand, choosing the latter date will lead to an inevitable clash with KGF 2.

Tollywood movie lovers and fans of Ravi Teja are now eagerly waiting for a final update on the film's release date. The movie, which has Divyansha Kaushik playing the female lead, has Ravi essaying the role of a cop in it. 

The title and first look of the actor's 68th movie was unveiled a few months ago. Sam CS has composed music for the project which has cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan and editing by Praveen KL.
