Making of Mahaan: This intriguing video, featuring Vikram, Dhruv and others, offers BTS moments

Karthik Subbaraj's Mahaan, starring Vikram and Dhruv in lead roles, opened to decent reviews after its direct-to-OTT release on February 10. The action flick's highlights, according to critics and audience, were performances of actors, cinematography and action sequences.

Simha, Sananth, Simran and Muthukumar are others who played important characters in the film which has music by Santhosh Narayanan and cinematography by Shreyaas Krishna. Mahaan's story revolves around a middle-aged man, who goes on to become the ruler of a liquor empire in Tamil Nadu, at the cost of his family life.

The team has released various promo videos and stills from the film post its release on Amazon Prime Video. They have now come up with its making video, titled 'Making of Mahaan'. The three-minute video has many interesting BTS moments, which involve Karthik, producer Lalit Kumar and all the actors involved in filmmaking process.

The set design of the favourite hangout spot of Gandhi Mahaan and Sathyavan, the process behind the latter's wig, Simran's dual appearance, action scenes of Dhruv, Vikram's various transformations, have been included in the making video, which is sure to be lapped up by the actor's fans and other film lovers.

Aadukalam Naren, Ramachandran Durairaj and Deepak Paramesh are other actors who were seen essaying notable characters in the project which has been edited by Vivek Harshan. The portions of Vani Bhojan, who essayed the role of Vikram's love interest, was removed because of the film's long duration.

Vikram's next release is expected to be Ajay Gnanamuthu's Cobra, which has been bankrolled by Lalit himself. Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan, Gautham Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram and Pa Ranjith's untitled movie are some of the actor's upcoming projects.
