While they seem to be working non-stop to complete the project on time, they are also not forgetting to have fun there. The shooting of Malaikottai Vaaliban has been going on since January this year . Perhaps, this film might be the longest shot film in Lijo's career. Lijo is known for completing his movie in a matter of weeks. For example, his breakout movie Jallikattu, which was India's official entry to the Oscars in 2021, was shot in about 39 days.

Even on the shoot days, he doesn't seem to miss out on workouts. The 62-year-old star has gained a lot of muscles for this movie, which is very apparent from his latest photos. 

Malaikottai Vaaliban is expected to give a much-needed break to Mohanlal. His career had hit a slump as his last few movies were both commercial and critical disasters. And the fans are hopeful that this movie would end Mohanlal's losing streak.
