Malavika Mohanan calls Thangalaan, a unique and crazy world; says film coming out well

Malavika Mohanan, who is currently working on Pa Ranjith's Thangalaan, recently had a chat session with her fans on Twitter. When one of the fans asked her about her experience working in Thangalaan, the actress said that the film was the toughest one in her career. She wrote on her social media handle, "Hands down the toughest film I’ve ever done in every way possible. Tests your physical, mental and emotional endurance to the maximum! But what an cathartic journey of self-discovery & pushing creative limits it’s been (sic)."

Talking about the progress of the film, Malavika said that Thangalaan was shaping up pretty well and that the team was creating a unique world. She stated that they were currently on a break due to Chiyaan Vikram's injury and that the shoot will resume once he recovers.

She wrote, "So #thangalaan is coming out pretty well(if I may say so myself) and it’s a crazy, unique world we’re creating! we were gonna shoot one of our last schedules this month but unfortunately vikram sir had an injury, so will resume soon after his recovery (sic)."

She also stated that she couldn't imagine working on the film without Vikram's help. She wrote, "Now when I look back at the #thangalaan , I cannot possibly imagine going through the arduous journey without Vikram Sir. He has helped literally every step of the way, every single shot almost. He’s selfless, super caring for everyone around him, encouraging as a co-actor & one of the most fun people to be around! His sense of humour is as we say it “vere level” (sic)!

Thangalaan also stars Parvathy Thiruvothu and Pasupathi. The plot revolves around a real-life incident which took place during the pre-independence era in the Kolar Gold Fields in Karnataka. Vikram's rustic avatar in the film had already had the internet talking.
