Mammootty’s Bazooka trailer to be unveiled with Mohanlal’s Empuraan in theatres?

Bazooka trailer to be released with L2 Empuraan in theatres?

Online trackers have been claiming on social media platforms that the trailer launch event of Bazooka will be held in Dubai on March 26, 2025. And the Bazooka trailer will be released in theatres along with Prithviraj Sukumaran’s L2 Empuraan the very next day. The Mohanlal-starrer, which is the second installment in the Lucifer trilogy, is gearing up for its worldwide release on March 27, 2025. 

Now with the buzz about Bazooka trailer also being attached to Empuraan release has further heightened the anticipation for Prithviraj’s directorial venture. Notably, Mammootty had also attended the teaser launch event of L2 Empuraan, that was also a star-studded affair.

Bazooka release date

On the other hand, Bazooka is scheduled as a festival release for Vishu with the Mammotty-starrer slated to hit theatres on April 10, 2025. The Malayalam thriller film, which also features Gautam Vasudev Menon in a pivotal role, was supposed to release on February 14, 2025, along with Painkili, Daveed and Bromance as a Valentine’s Day release. However, the megastar’s film backed out, making it a more level-playing field for the other three movies, that featured a relatively younger cast. The makers had cited CGI works as the reason for the Bazooka postponement.  

Empuraan release

Meanwhile, Mohanlal and Prithviraj will be back with the second instalment of Lucifer franchise, Empuraan, on March 27, 2025. The much-awaited film has been creating a lot of buzz online, and the expectations are sky high as the first installment in 2019 was an instant hit with Mohanlal’s performance along with Prithviraj’s filmmaking and Murali Gopy’s writing all winning appreciation.
