Managalavaram's sequel becomes a hot topic, here's the exact story behind it

Managalavaram is a crucial film for director Ajay Bhupathi and actress Payal Rajput, as they have both seen many flops recently. They made their debut with the film RX100, which was a rage at the box office. After a long gap, they have once again teamed up, this time for a dark thriller titled Managalavarm. The film is set to be released in theatres on November 17, 2023.

The film has made headlines as the dark thriller will also have a sequel, as per the news doing the rounds. This was confirmed by director Ajay Bhupathi in a recent interview. Ever since, news has been spreading that the makers are ready with the sequel and will release it next summer.

But one of the sources close to the team has revealed to us that the sequel is in just the discussion stages and the script is not ready as the rumours suggest. The source goes on to add that the sequel will only kick off depending on the success of Managalavaram.

Managalavaram has a very dark theme as weird things start happening in a small village every Tuesday. Payal Rajput plays a very challenging character in this film and the director says that everyone will be shocked to see her performance, which is the biggest surprise of the film.

A Creative Works and Mudhra Media Works produce this film, which also stars Nanditha Swetha, Divya Pillai, Azmal, Ravindra Vijay, Krishna Chaitanya, Ajay Gosh, Shravan Reddy, and Srithej in key roles. 

The promos have caught on quite well and there is a decent buzz for this film. Payal Rajput and Ajay Bhupathi are going all out to promote the film and they even invited Allu Arjun to the pre-release event. Let's see how it fares at the box office.
