Manamey out on OTT: Sharwanand's film is now streaming on these two platforms

Sharwanand is one of the most bankable stars in Telugu cinema and has done some interesting films in the past. But he is struggling to score a hit. To make a comeback, he teamed up with director Sriram Aditya of Devadas fame for a romantic comedy titled Manamey. The film hit the screens on June 7, 2025, and received decent reviews. But sadly, it did not work at the box office that much. Amazon Prime Video bagged the digital rights to the film for a fancy price and started streaming the film on March 7, 2025.

Now, as per the latest update, Aha has also bagged the digital rights to the film and has made Manamey available for streaming. That means Manamey is now available on Amazon Prime Video, Aha, and OTTplay Premium. Sharwanand plays the main lead in this film, which also has Krithi Shetty as the female lead.

The entire film is set in London and is about a young and careless guy who is assigned the responsibility of a baby boy after the tragic death of his parents. How he manages to take care of the kid along with handling his complex love story is the basic crux of Manamey. Sriram Aditya showcased Sharwa in the most lovable manner, and the star hero also performed to the best of his abilities.

The film has crazy comedy in the first half and good emotions in the second, and is a perfect OTT watch. Manamey was produced by T. G. Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner. The film was made on a large budget but failed to break even at the box office.

Krithi Shetty plays the female lead in Manamey

Now that it is available on two platforms, we need to see how the film fares in the days to come. Krithi Shetty is also struggling for a big hit. Her last hit was Bangarraju with Naga Chaitanya. She looked beautiful in the film and shared sizzling chemistry with Sharwanand.
