Varudu Kaavalenu, the rom-com starring Ritu Varma, Naga Shaurya in the lead roles and directed by Lakshmi Sowjanya, is back in the news. Sithara Entertainments, which produces the light-hearted entertainer, has released a new melody from the film titled Manasulone Nilichipoke on Wednesday. Vishal Chandrasekhar has composed the music for the film, while the lyrics of Manasulone Nilichipoke are penned by veteran Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry. Chinmayi Sripaada has lent her voice for the same.

Needless to say, the trio (of the composer, singer and music director) has put together a memorable number that's sure to linger on your mind for a long time. The song is about a woman who's gradually falling in love with the man of her dreams but still has a few inhibitions about revealing her feelings for him. An ever-dependable Sirivennela does a fantastic job in capturing the various thoughts in the mind of a girl neck-deep in love and still in a dilemma about taking the first step in the relationship.

The woman in the song, played by Ritu Varma, is lost in her thoughts, and is in a conversation with herself, trying to dissect what it means to fall in love and why is she unable to gather the courage to tell the same front of her man. She describes this phase as a new season, a time where she can't wait to become one with her love and also foresees a future with him. The Telugu words remain very simple and touch your heart in a way only Sirivennela's lyrics can. Chinmayi's expressive voice, with timely, subtle modulations, ensures that the essence of the song comes through beautifully.

Sinduri has provided additional vocal support to Chinmayi in this beautiful melody. Punya Srinivas' splendid veena-interludes, guitarist Chris Jason's catchy sound, with the keys and rhythm by the composer Vishal Chandrasekhar, add so much sheen to the number. Varudu Kaavalenu's other songs like Digu Digu Digu Naaga, Kola Kalle Ilaa have registered impressive number of hits on YouTube. The film, also featuring Nadiya, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Praveen, Ananth, Kiriti Damaraju, Rangasthalam Mahesh, Arjun Kalyan, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, Siddiksha in key roles, is wrapping up post-production formalities, aiming for an early October release.
