Mango Pachcha teaser reactions: Sanchith Sanjeev set for ‘solid’ debut, say netizens

The first glimpse of Sanchith Sanjeev as Prashant, aka Pachcha, from filmmaker Viveka’s Mango Pachcha, was released on the auspicious occasion of Ashtami, almost 7 months after the title and first look from the film were revealed. Back then, fans couldn’t get enough the debutant’s swag and smoking style and now that a full-fledged teaser is out, that’s pretty much the same sentiment. Sanchith, who has been christened Jr Kichcha, by none other than his superstar uncle Kiccha Sudeep, truly lives up to the title, feel netizens.

The teaser is, no doubt, promising, and features a crime drama about a ‘soldier’s uprising against the King’ and how Pachcha became Mango Pachcha. The film is set in Mysuru in the early 2000s, with Sanchith’s Pachcha, a small-time DVD store owner, and the conflict that arises between him and a local don being at the crux of the story. There’s also a love story amid all this drama, with Kajal Kunder paired with Sanchith.

“Mango Pachcha teaser is cool. Banger BGM by Charan Raj. Sanchith’s voice, screen presence and swag, make him the perfect candidate as the future superstar of the Kannada film industry” – This is pretty much the gist of all the comments that have been pouring in since the teaser dropped. Now the hope is that debutant director Viveka’s script lives up to this hype. The teaser ends with a promise that the film is ‘Coming Soon’, and it is expected to be a 2025 release after all.
