Manikandan opens up on Sila Nerangalil Sila Manidhargal's OTT premiere on aha Tamil

Sila Nerangalil Sila Manidhargal, directed by debutant Vishal Venkat, had a theatrical release on January 28. The movie opened to decent reviews from critics and the audience. Ashok Selvan, Nasser, Manikandan, Abi Haasan, Anju Kurian, Praveen Raja and Riythvika among others played key roles in the film.

The feel-good emotional drama is set for an OTT premiere on aha Tamil from February 25. This is the second film to be premiered on the newly launched platform on which only Tamil content will be available to watch.   

The social media handle of the platform posted a video of Manikandan, who played one of the lead roles, apart from writing dialogues for the project, talking about the movie's digital premiere and Geetha Arts, the production house which owns the platform. 

He said, "When I used to work as an AD in Hyderabad, many of my friends who used to work in Telugu films in direction department, used to heap praises on Geetha Arts. There were days when I used to wonder why they go gaga over the production company. I still remember them talking about the work ethics of the firm."

He added, "It feels good to see them coming up with an exclusive digital avenue for Tamil content. I'm happy that Sila Nerangalil Sila Manidhargal is one of the first projects they have chose to premiere on the platform. Geetha Arts has been one of the production companies where I wanted to work. I'm glad that I got to associate with them this way."

Manikandan also requested film lovers to subscribe to aha Tamil and added that the subscription rate for one year is only ₹365. "It means you have to spend only one rupee every day. Watch the film and enjoy."
