Manikandan's Lover gets another glowing review ahead of release

Actor-screenwriter K Manikandan seems to be set to score his second consecutive box office hit with his upcoming movie Lover after last year's Good Night. The movie is garnering very encouraging reviews, creating significant curiosity among the audiences.

Manikandan was overjoyed after receiving appreciation from actor-politician Udhayanidhi Stalin. He took to social media to share the words of encouragement he received from the senior actor in the film industry.

Lover continues to get good reviews

"It was such a pleasure to receive your wishes over call @Udhaystalin sir I feel so elated to learn that you loved & enjoyed our film #Lover For an upcoming artist like me, It feels great to be appreciated for my performance in detail. It gives me more energy to explore more interesting roles!!," tweeted Manikandan.

It's noteworthy that even though Udhayanidhi has announced a complete retirement from movies, he continues to remain the industry's passionate supporter. He often watches movies of all languages and shares his thoughts about them on his social media platforms.

Udhayanidhi is not the first audience to have watched Lover before its wide release. The film has already received a slew of good reviews from other members of the Tamil film industr y, setting high expectations.

Lover set for wide release

The trailer of Lover was released last week and received a huge response. The narrative revolves around a couple who have been in a relationship for six years. However, the relationship begins to sore when the girl seeks more time to decide on marriage, sending the boy into an emotional tailspin.

Lover is written and directed by Prabhuram Vyas and is due in cinemas on February 9.
