Manjummel Boys, the survival drama that features a stellar star cast including Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, and others, has been receiving excellent reviews. The movie, which is helmed by Jan. E. Man fame director Chidambaram, has impressed cine-goers with its excellent making, performances, and technical aspects. As per the recent updates, Manjummel Boys has made an excellent first-weekend opening at the worldwide box office and has already crossed the Rs. 35 crore mark.

Manjummel Boys first weekend box office collection

As per the recent updates from trade experts, Manjummel Boys has made a total collection of over Rs. 35 crore from the worldwide box office when it completed the first weekend (4 days) of its release. Interestingly, the survival drama minted Rs. 4.15 crore from the Kerala box office alone on Day 4, which was also its first Sunday at the theatres. The total Kerala box office collection of the Chidambaram directorial has now crossed Rs. 14.75 crore.

In that case, it is safe to assume that Manjummel Boys will cross the Rs. 15 crore mark at the Kerala box office today, which is also the film’s first Monday. It is also evident that the multi-starrer is set to pass the Monday test with flying colours, thanks to the extraordinary audience rush across all regions. The worldwide collection, on the other hand, is expected to touch the Rs. 40 crore mark in a couple of days. In that case, the movie will enter the Rs. 50 crore club of Malayalam cinema, within the first week of its release.

Manjummel Boys in rest of India's box office

As expected, Manjummel Boys is also performing exceptionally well at all the rest of India’s centers, especially in Tamil Nadu. For the uninitiated, director Chidambaram and his team have paid tribute to the Kamal Haasan starring classic film Gunaa, which was released in 1991, and the famous song ‘Kanmani Anbodu’ in the survival drama, which revolves around the famous Gunaa caves of Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu. The reports suggest that this factor has evidently clicked with Tamil audiences across the globe.
