Actress Mannara Chopra talks about the kind of impact sister Priyanka Chopra Jonas had in her life while growing up

Actress Mannara Chopra became a social media sensation since her stint on the reality television show, Bigg Boss, where she was applauded for her sincerity and was often compared with her sisters Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Parineeti Chopra. Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas has also not shied away from expressing her love for Mannara, be it by posting her achievements on social media or attending her birthday party in Mumbai with her husband Nick Jonas. Speaking about how Priyanka has influenced her life, Mannara said that Priyanka always had a strong impact not only on her but on all the cousins in her family while growing up and also identified Mannara’s creative pursuits very early on in her life.

During a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Mannara was asked about the impact that actress Priyanka had on the young and present Mannara. The actress replied that Priyanka always had a strong impact, not only on her, but on all the cousins growing up in the family. Mannara said, “She (Priyanka) has always projected herself as a very strong and independent woman and I looked up to her at that age because everywhere she went, she could buy her own things, she can stay at the best of the places, she can do whatever she wants, she could rule the world according to her terms and that is what I tried to imbibe.”
Priyanka inspired Mannara to be on her own terms
Mannara further said that by watching Priyanka she realised that she had to be on her own terms, and not look at others. Mannara also revealed that when she showed an interest in creative arts very early in her life, Priyanka told her mother that it was very important for Mannara to complete her education because education is the basis for any foundation. The actress further added that a family surely adds a base to a person’s life. “My father’s a lawyer, there are doctors in my family, my mother is a jewellery designer, she herself is a double graduate,” she said.
