Vishal's Mark Antony, being directed by Adhik Ravichandran, went on floors a while ago, and makers are shooting the film at a brisk pace in Chennai. A still featuring Vishal and SJ Suryah from the location was revealed by the team recently.
Touted as a pan Indian movie, it is an action entertainer and is expected to hit the screens this year. The movie is also likely to be Vishal's first outing in 2023. Fans who are awaiting an update on the project are now surprised watching a video from its location in which an accident has occurred.
The short video which is doing the rounds on social media has a huge truck entering a studio set and losing control. The vehicle which was supposed to stop after moving a short distance surprises the crowd gathered at the set and goes on to hit them.
The panicked crew members are seen running for their lives in the video as they didn't anticipate the sudden movement of the truck. Though the crew hasn't come up with any official press note on what has happened, we have learnt that nobody got injured on the set.
The recent Vishal-starrers were in the news when the actor got injured while filming action scenes. Veeramae Vaagai Soodum and Laththi, the two outings of the actor in 2022, had him taking a break for a while after he met with injury during the shooting of high-octane stunt scenes.
Ritu Varma plays the female lead in Mark Antony which has music composed by GV Prakash. Vishal is likely to begin the shooting of his directorial debut Thupparivalan 2 soon. Meanwhile, director Adhik's long-delayed movie Bagheera is gearing up for a release in theatres on March 3.
