Adhik Ravichandran's Mark Antony, which hit the screens a month ago, turned out to be one of the most successful films of the year. The movie is the biggest success in Vishal's two-decade-old career. SJ Suryah, Selvaraghavan, Sunil and Ritu Varma among others played pivotal roles in the film.
The gangster drama revolves around a telephone through which its characters make time travel possible which leads to several twists and turns in their lives. The project produced by Vinod Kumar started streaming on Amazon Prime Video a few days ago.

The film has been garnering good response after its digital premiere, too. Its wacky idea and unique presentation coupled with the actors' performances are receiving positive reviews from cinephiles who missed it in theatres.
An excited Vishal has now taken to his Twitter page to express excitement on the same. The actor said that he is glad people are enjoying the movie on OTT. His tweet read, "Happy to see #MarkAntony killing it in Ott platform too. Trending no 1 in Amazon Prime. Enjoy the unlimited entertainment, especially my favourite Silk Smitha scene in your own homes now. God Bless (sic)."
Huge success after crossing various hurdles
The movie was in the news for various reasons in recent times. Vishal and Suryah escaped from a major accident while shooting for the film a few months ago. A few days before its release, Lyca Productions requested the Madras High Court to stay its release as Vishal owes a sum to the production house.
Later, the actor lashed out at the Mumbai-based CBFC for demanding extra money for certifying its Hindi version. The I&B Ministry ordered an inquiry into the matter and the star thanked them for the immediate response.
