Vishal is celebrating his birthday today and the actor calls this one a special birthday as he is eagerly awaiting the release of his next, Mark Antony with SJ Suryah. The film, helmed by Adhik Ravichandran ( of Trisha Illana Nayanthara, Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan and Bagheera fame), revolves around time travel, and is all set to hit screens on September 15. A special film for Vishal

Talking about Mark Antony, Vishal said, "I must say that this birthday is very special for me. Because I’m coming up with Mark Antony which is set for release on September 15th. This is the most important film in my career and is a period film. As an actor, Mark Antony is a next-level film to me as I played two different characters in it. The looks of those two characters also received an amazing response from the audience. SJ Suryah has essayed a crucial role in the film."

He adds, "The movie has all the commercial elements to please all sections of audiences. Mark Antony will surely provide a different theatrical experience. If you continue to love and support me, I will entertain you more by making more movies like this.”

Indebted to fans

On the love from fans, Vishal said, “I have acted in many roles in films based on different genres. Audiences have always supported me. I have reached this stage, only because of their support and encouragement. I am forever indebted to the fans for showing me so much love."

Mark Antony is touted to be a gangster action film and it features an ensemble star cast which includes Ritu Varma, Sunil, Selvaraghavan, Abhinaya, Redin Kingsley and YG Mahendran.


While GV Prakash Kumar has scored the music, cinematography is by Abhinandan Ramanujam, and stunt choreography by Peter Heins, Dilip Subbarayan, Kanal Kannan, and Dinesh Subbarayan are major highlights. The film is bankrolled by S Vinod Kumar.
