Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is the latest to join the OTT bandwagon. Yes, the Yashodha actress is all set to make her OTT debut with Maruti Nagar Police Station, which is all set to stream on Aha Tamil from May 19. The crime thriller also stars Aarav in the lead.
AlsoThe thriller is written, directed and produced by Kannada filmmaker Dayal Padmanabhan. The crime drama follows the story of four close friends seeking revenge for the murder of their friend.
We hear that the entire plot revolves around one night around a police station, which is the Maruti Nagar Nagar Police Station. Interestingly, the film's director Padmanabhan is a huge Anjaneya devotee and hence, used the title of his favourite god in the film.
The film raises questions of justice and morality as they hatch an intelligent plan to take down an accomplice of the notorious Don Naga. But the friends find themselves amid a larger conspiracy when unexpected events occur.
Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Arav, both will play a cop in the film.This is the first time that Arav will be playing a cop. Arav was last seen in Magizh Thirumeni's Kalagathalaivan, in which he played the antagonist opposite Udhayanidhi Stalin. The actors are said to have worked on their physique for their character.

The supporting cast includes Santhosh Prathap, Mahat Raghavendra, Yasar, Vivek Rajagopal, Amit Bharghav, Subramanya Siva,Yash Shetty,Ravi Venkatraman, Shruthi Nayak, Joe Simon, Balaji and Chandra chud.
Music & Background score for the film is by Manikanth Kadri, lyrics by Dhayal Padmanabhan, cinematography by Shekhar Chandra, editing by Preethi-Babu and the stunt choreography by Chetan Dsouza.
Majority of the portions of the film have been shot in Bengaluru. The teaser of the film already gave a sneak peek into the action entertainer, which is gearing up for its direct OTT release.
