Mass Jathara was postponed due to failure of Jr NTR's War 2: Ravi Teja

Ravi Teja opens up on multiple delays of Mass Jathara

Mass Jathara was supposed to hit the screens on August 27, 2025, but the makers, led by Naga Vamsi, postponed the film at the last minute. Ravi Teja revealed in an interview that the film was postponed due to Jr NTR’s War 2. 

Going into details, the producer of Mass Jathara, Naga Vamsi, released War 2 in Telugu and spoke overconfidently at the pre-release event of that film. As War 2 ended as a huge flop, he was trolled big time and went into hiding.

Citing that, Vamsi said he deliberately postponed Mass Jathara so that the War 2 effect would not fall on his film. This move by Naga Vamsi, Ravi Teja says, did not go well with him, and he was upset with the makers for a long time. “August 27, 2025, was a perfect release date with not many films around the corner. I was not happy with the postponement, but we had to,” says Ravi Teja.

He also adds that Mass Jathara is a film that can be enjoyed at any time. Though everyone calls it a regular commercial drama, there is a lot of masala, story, and fan moments, says Ravi Teja. 

Ravi Teja pins all hopes on Mass Jathara

Bheems Ceciroleo has composed the music for this film, and the three songs that have been released so far have turned out to be good hits, creating a decent buzz for the film.
