Max box office collection day 2: Helmed by Vijay Karthikeyaa, Kiccha Sudeep's film is produced by Kalaippuli S Thanu, marking his maiden production in Kannada

It has indeed been a Merry Christ"Max" for Kiccha Sudeep who is enjoying the success of his recently released Kannada film Max. The action thriller, which has been doing well in theatres with extra shows and new screens getting added, released on December 25 and been making good numbers at the box office.
Kiccha Sudeep who was last seen in a full-fledged role in 2022 with Vikrant Rona, made his return to big screens with this year's Max. The action thriller film, which released for the occasion of Christmas on December 25, has made Rs 4 crore on day two. The film's overall 2-day collection so far is about Rs 12 crore.
Even as the film slowed down the second day, a positive word of mouth given how the film received good reviews, is expected to up the film's game over the weekend. On Thursday, the makers also announced that new theatres and extra shows will run Max from Friday. Helmed by Vijay Karthikeyaa, it is produced by Kalaippuli S Thanu, marking his maiden production in Kannada. Thanu is known for making films in Tamil and has made Karnan, Asuran and Thuppaki to name a few. With no major Kannada releases to compete, Max is expected to enjoy a solo run for the next week.
Vijay Karthikeyaa makes his debut with Max. The star cast also includes Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sunil, Sharath Lohithashwa, Pramod Shetty, Sukrutha Wagle, Samyukta Hornad, Sudha Belawadi, Vijay Chendoor, among others. With B Ajaneesh Loknath scoring the music, the film is shot by cinematographer Shekar Chandra and SR Ganesh Baabu handling the edits.
Max is a story that happens in one day. It revolves around the events that unfold in one night – between 7 pm and 7 am, with the central focus on an incident that triggers his character Arjun Mahakshay, aka Max, to retaliate with violence.
