The makers of Santhanam-starrer Sabhaapathy had recently announced that the first single from the film will be out on Thursday evening. The actor himself took to Twitter to share the song, composed by Sam CS, written by Viveka and crooned by Srinisha Jayaseelan. The four-minute lyric video is a beautiful fusion of devotion and romance. Set against the backdrop of love between Krishna and Radha, the visuals of the song feature adorable kolu dolls. Interestingly, there are dolls which are look-alike of Santhanam and Preeti Verma, too, who play the lead roles in the movie.

A blink-and-miss appearance of the lead pair and a few BTS moments of musician Sam working in his studio are also showcased in the lyric video. The movie, directed by R Srinivasa Rao, has cinematography by Baskar Arumugam and editing by Leo John Paul. Hari Dinesh and Sathish have choreographed action and dance sequences respectively for the film. Sabhaapathy was earlier supposed to hit the screens on April 2021. However, after the second wave of the pandemic, the makers postponed its release plans indefinitely. A few months ago, there was speculation on the movie premiering on SonyLIV, though the makers remained tight-lipped about the release.

The makers have now surprised fans of Santhanam and others by revealing their release plans towards the end of the lyric video. It says the comic caper will hit the screens in November. MS Baskar, Sayaji Shinde and Cooku With Comali fame Pugazh will also be seen playing important roles in the film. The first look of the movie was released earlier this year through Arya's Twitter handle. Santhanam's last theatrical release was Parris Jayaraj, one of the few profitable projects in Tamil this year. His last outing was Dikkiloona which premiered on Zee5 a month ago.
