The details of Meera Jasmine’s next Malayalam film are out. The actress posted the first Paalum Pazhavum poster on social media and expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to work with this amazing team on her upcoming Malayalam film. “Here is “Paalum Pazhavum”! Can’t wait for the journey ahead,” she wrote.
V K Prakash is directing this film, whose further updates are expected in the coming days. Shanthi Krishna, Maniyanpilla Raju, and Ashokan are also playing pivotal roles in this movie.
The supporting cast of Paalum Pazhavum includes Rachana Narayanankutty, Mithun Ramesh, Nisha Sarang, Sumesh Chandran, Adil Ibrahim, Shinu Shyamalan, Thushara, Vineeth Ramachandran, and Atul Ram Kumar. Big Boss-fame RJ Sooraj is also among the cast of the film.
Crew behind Paalum Pazhavum
Ashish Rajani Unnikrishnan has penned the screenplay and dialogue for this movie. Paalum Pazhavum is bankrolled by Sameer Sait and Vinod Unnithan under the banner of 2 Creative Minds. Sheetal Singh is the executive producer. Rahul Deep will oversee the camera work, while Praveen Prabhakar is the editor. Sachin Balu Joel Jones and Justin-Uday Duo are the music directors of the film. Gopi Sundar will compose the background music for Paalum Pazhavum.
Meera Jasmine’s third Malayalam film after a break
Meera Jasmine made her comeback to Mollywood with Sathyan Anthikkad’s 2022 film Makal, with Jayaram and Devika Sanjay, following a short break. Her recent theatrical release was Queen Elizabeth, starring opposite Narain. The film is now available to stream on Zee5.

The actress also made a cameo appearance in the Tamil film Vimanam last year. She will appear in a prominent role in another Tamil flick, The Test, which also features R Madhavan, Nayanthara, and Siddharth.

Filmmaker and actor V K Prakash, who is known for his experimental films across several languages apart from Malayalam, is helming Paalum Pazhavum. His recent work was the thriller drama Live, starring Mamta Mohandas, Soubin Shahir, Shine Tom Chacko, and Priya Prakash Varrier in lead roles.
