Mere Husband Ki Biwi Box Office Collection Day 2: It is now evident that no other film will have a great run at the box office in front of Chhaava and the frenzy it has triggered. However, amid this storm, a Mudassar Aziz film starring Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh was released, opening to very mixed reviews. The movie hit theaters exactly when Chhaava completed a week on the big screen, and as expected, the Vicky Kaushal starrer has still managed to overshadow this Kapoor-led comedy of errors. On its second day, Mere Husband Ki Biwi has found little to no redemption.

Mere Husband Ki Biwi Box Office Update

Starring Arjun Kapoor in the lead alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh, this comedy of errors follows a man who is happily in love with his girlfriend until his ex-wife, after an accident, loses her memory and reverts to the time when they were married, re-entering his life. The confusion deepens as one must now claim the man. The movie has not received positive reviews, and the word of mouth is weak as well. Given these factors, there is very little chance for the film to find any kind of redemption.

According to Sacnilk, Mere Husband Ki Biwi has seen very slow growth at the box office since day one, but that is not enough. The film has earned ₹1.65 crore at the domestic box office, and when added to the ₹1.50 crore from day one, its total collection stands at ₹3.15 crore. These numbers are not promising for the movie’s sustainability and suggest a rather unfortunate trajectory.

Rakul Preet Singh on Working with Bhumi Pednekar

Meanwhile, according to Zoom, Rakul Preet Singh, while speaking about working with Bhumi Pednekar in Mere Husband Ki Biwi, addressed how female friendships in the industry are often viewed with skepticism. Discussing her real-life bond with Bhumi, Rakul said, "Well, the idea that two female actors can't be friends isn't really true—I can say that for sure. Bhumi was Jackky's (Jackky Bhagnani) best friend when I met her, and then she became my very good friend."

"I think as much as both of us are very competitive in our work and want to give our best, at the same time, we are very accommodating of each other's presence, very cordial, and genuinely friendly on set. There were times when the director had to tell us, 'Please don't joke around. You guys have to hate each other in the film. Stay away, hate each other, and don't act like friends.'” Rakul signed off.
