After a lot of back and forth, the makers of Metro... In Dino have finally announced the film's new release date. Directed by Anurag Basu, the Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan movie was initially supposed to release in 2024. It was recently reported that the romantic drama's release had been delayed due to Anurag's new film with Kartik Aaryan. After denying the speculation, the makers have now confirmed that Metro... In Dino will hit the big screen on July 4, 2025.
T-Series Films made an official announcement about Metro... In Dino's new release date on Instagram. The production house revealed that the movie will be out in cinemas on July 4, 2025. The romantic drama promises to celebrate love, life, and unexpected connections that define people.
While sharing the update, the makers penned, "When love, fate and city life collide magic is bound to happen! Metro… इन दिनों brings the stories of heart from the cities that you love! Experience it on July4th in cinemas near you (sic)."
Earlier, when rumours of Metro... In Dino's postponement surfaced online, the makers confirmed that the movie will release this year. In an interview with Zoom, filmmaker Anurag Basu spoke about his project.
"It was a huge responsibility because I thought that the old Metro (Life In A Metro) would be forgotten by people. People won't remember it that much. So, the expectations are really high. I hope I deliver in this film, and we had good fun shooting it," he said.
Produced by T-Series Films and Anurag Basu Productions, Metro... In Dino is an anthology of four couples. The film's star cast includes Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta and others.
