Mumbai Indians vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, 69th Match - Live Wicket-to-wicket update
The second last game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 group stage sees Mumbai Indians (MI) host SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH). The Sunday afternoon clash at the Wankhede has a playoff berth at stake.
Mumbai finds itself in a must-win situation, but even a win may not suffice, keeping their negative NRR in mind.
As for SunRisers, they have nothing to lose as they are already out of contingent to make it to the Playoffs.
If Mumbai wants to make it to the Playoffs, they will need some results to go their way. MI need to beat the bottom-placed SRH and wait for the result of the last league game, between RCB and GT.
It is only post the last league game will they and even Rajasthan Royals (RR) know if they are progressing into the last-four stage.
Mumbai Indians move to the fourth spot and stay alive!
As for Rajasthan Royals, they are now knocked out.
Kishan was sent back in the 3rd over and Rohit looked scratchy.
However, stuck till the end and came out all guns blazing.
Now it will all be on RCB - if they win, they will go through, if they lose, Mumbai go through.
However, if rain hampers play, then too Mumbai will go to the Playoffs.
