Actor Mohanlal mentioned that his busy schedule of filming in foreign locations and frequent travels kept him from watching many movies. He was speaking in an interview with Movie Man Broadcasting as part of the promotion of his upcoming film, Neru. The actor went on to say that this year he could only watch Joaquin Phoenix's Napoleon and Rajnikanth's Jailer. Mohanlal had played a cameo role in Jailer.

"I had also seen Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, starring Basil Joseph and Darshana Rajendran. This year, I spent most of my time traveling and shooting in different places. I returned from Switzerland a few days ago after shooting for a Telugu film,” he said.

The Drishyam actor also mentioned that Malayalam cinema has changed significantly over the years, giving artists and films greater opportunities to be seen by a wider audience.

Additionally, he expressed his gratitude for being referred to as Lalettan. "Every age group refers to me in the same way. I have always been happy to be called Lalettan," he continued.
