Mohanlal is one of the prolific Malayalam actors, whose films and performances have a huge fan following in other languages too. Now, the actor’s 2019 film Ittymaani: Made in China is set for its Telugu release on ETV Win (OTTplay Premium). Mohanlal’s Ittymaani: Made in China in Telugu
The Malayalam film Ittymaani: Made in China, which released in theatres way back in 2019, is now available to stream in Telugu on ETV Win via OTTplay Premium. The Telugu dubbed version of the Mohanlal-starrer dropped on July 24, 2025.
The film had opened to mixed to negative reviews during its theatrical release, and it remains to be seen whether Telugu audiences would take a liking for Ittymaani: Made in China. Notably, the film released in theatres after Mohanlal’s blockbuster hit Lucifer in 2019. Both Lucifer and its sequel Empuraan are also available to steam on OTTplay Premium.
What’s the plot of Ittymaani: Made in China
Mohanlal plays the titular role, who was brought up in China. He lives in Kerala now, and his Chinese banter with his mother (KPAC Lalitha) is among the lighter moments in the film. The twist in the film comes after Ittymani seeks to help his neighbour, the elderly Annamma, who is neglected by her children, in a rather unique way.
Radhika Sarathkumar plays Annamma in the film, along with Honey Rose, Siddique, Kailash, and Swasika. Aju Varghese, Salim Kumar, and Dharmajan Bolgatty are also part of the film’s cast.
Mohanlal’s upcoming movie
Meanwhile, Mohanlal is all set for the release of his upcoming film Hridayapoorvam, which is helmed by Sathyan Anthikad. Malavika Mohanan plays a key role, along with Sangeeth Prathap, Sangita Madhavan Nair, Siddique, Lalu Alex, and others. The film will hit theatres on August 28 as an Onam release.
