The newest actor to join the Instagram trend where users share videos with the caption, "If this actor comments on this post, I will do so and so," is Malayalam megastar Mohanlal. This time, three friends made a video and promised to eat biscuits if Mohanlal commented on it. However, they never for a moment imagined that the actor would genuinely leave a hilarious remark beneath their video.
In response, Mohanlal urged them to eat the biscuits and to distribute them among their friends. The three were shocked and double-checked that the superstar had, in fact, replied.
Tovino Thomas hopped into the viral trend quickly
This Instagram trend is becoming viral as many celebrities’ comments on the posts of their fans. Recently, internet users have been sharing a similar post by Tovino Thomas on social media. A middle-aged man said in the video that if the Guppy-star left a comment on the reels, he would give up alcohol. In a hilarious comment, the actor said that, while he does not mind commenting, the man should really give up drinking.
The caption for another video read, "If Tovino Thomas comments on this video, I will start preparing for my exams," and it was uploaded to an Instagram user named Taha Hasoon. Tovino requested that Hasoon "go and study" in Malayalam, and the video went viral immediately.
Fans did not spare Premalu star or Manjummel Boys
The young celebrities were also not spared by social media users. Similar videos of college and school-age girls requesting a response from Premalu star Naslen were shared on Instagram. To his fans' delight, he accomplished a great deal by replying to some of their videos.
In the meantime, some people posted statements like, "If someone on the team looks after my baby for two hours, I will watch Manjummel Boys." Several actors from the movie, including Vishnu Reghu, Jean Lal, and Chandu Salimkumar, left comments on this post.
Nonetheless, a large number of fans follow the same trend on social media, waiting for their favourite actors to respond.
