Season 2 of Monarch Legacy of Monsters promises more kaiju action, with a new Titan awakened and earth bound. Will Godzilla and King Kong team up against this threat?

The new season of Monarch Legacy of Monsters is set to drop on Apple TV+ on February 27, ahead of which a first trailer was dropped that has really excited Monsterverse fans. The post accompanying the trailer read, “Titan X has awakened”, with the visuals then hinting at something playing out that is not the result of either Kong or Godzilla. This, they say, is “something bigger”.
Is Titan X the Kraken from Skull Island?
At the end of Season 1 of Monarch Legacy of Monsters, the action had shifted to Skull Island and Kong was expected t join in the action, but who would he or Godzilla be up against? While the trailer hints at a monster dubbed Titan X, fans have theorized that it is the Kraken, one of Kong’s biggest adversaries, which is a chimeric blend of aquatic animals, with six octopus-like tentacles, crab-like pincers, a fish-like tail, a beaked mouth with teeth, and bioluminescent properties. The Kraken can deliver lethal electric shocks and venom through its tentacles.

The other theory is that the creature is Biollante, a genetically-modified kaiju hybrid created from Godzilla's DNA. Most importantly, is this the same villain that will be in the next King Kong and Godzilla team up movie.
Chronologically, a Kong and Godzilla team up on Season 2 would not be possible, explain netizens, adding that they are excited about the “true monsterverse clash coming with something new”. “Can’t wait to see the chaos Titan X unleashes”, wrote a fan.
