Month of Madhu, the relationship drama bringing together the pair of Naveen Chandra and Swathi Reddy after the horror drama Tripura, released in theatres on October 6. Srikanth Nagothi of Bhanumathi and Ramakrishna helmed the film, produced by Yeshwanth Mulukutla. Ravikanth Perepu, the filmmaker behind Kshanam and the upcoming romance drama Bubblegum, had edited the film.

Shreya Navile, Viva Harsha, Manjula Ghattamaneni, Gnaneswari Kandregula and Raja Chembolu essayed other important roles. While the film, which had impressive music by Achu Rajamani, earned decent reviews and fared well during its theatrical run, it truly got its due post its OTT release on aha (digital premiere on November 3). The film recently garnered over 100 million streaming minutes on OTT.

Celebrating the film’s popularity on the streaming platform, the team of Month of Madhu, including Srikanth Nagothi, Swathi Reddy and producer Yeshwanth Mulukutla, interacted with corporate professionals at My Home Twitza in Hyderabad recently. “Celebrating the story of love, forgiving and beyond. #MonthOfMadhu 100 million minutes success meet at #MyHomeTwitza received so much love,” aha wrote.

The video of the interaction will be out shortly. Recently, Srikanth Nagothi and Swathi also united for a promotional video for aha, where they recollected their 90s memories through various objects, eatables. Month of Madhu is one of the rare Telugu films that explored Swathi’s potential as an actress to the fullest, helping her go beyond the cute girl-next-door image and transition into a matured performer.

Naveen Chandra, who was also seen in Karthik Subbaraj’s hit Jigarthanda Double X recently, reasserted his worth as a versatile actor with Month of Madhu. Raja Ravindra, Rudra Raghav, Ruchita Sadineni, Mourya Siddavaram and Kancherapalem Kishore are also part of the cast. Chandramouli Eathalapaka is the art director and Rajeev Dharavath is the cinematographer.
