The filmmaker's last outing was Vishnu Vishal-starrer action flick FIR
Arya and Gautham Karthik
Manu Anand, who previously helmed FIR starring Vishnu Vishal in the lead, is ready with his next. He has announced that his forthcoming project has been titled Mr X. Arya and Gautham Karthik join hands for the first time in this film which is being bankrolled by S Lakshman Kumar of Prince Pictures.
Tipped as a high-octane action drama, Stunt Silva is at the helm of its action choreography. Tanveer Mir and Dhibu Ninan Thomas are handling cinematography and music direction respectively for the movie which has editing by Prasanna GK and art direction by Indulal Kaveed.
Going by the motion poster makers have unveiled, it looks like Arya and Gautham are playing agents in a plot which is driven by terrorism, hacking and various other internationally relevant crimes. The director's FIR, too, dealt with terrorism. It revolved around a young man who was accused of having association with terrorist organizations.
Arya, Gautham and Manu expressed excitement over coming together for Mr X. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi in 2024. Movie buffs are now waiting for an update on other cast in it.
Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam is Arya's next release. The rural drama helmed by Muthaiya is expected to be released this year. Shakti Soundar Rajan's Captain was his last outing. Pa Ranjith's Sarpatta 2 is currently his most-awaited project.
Gautham Karthik, on the other hand, has had two releases already in 2023. Obeli N Krishan's Pathu Thala and NS Ponkumar's August 16 1947 hit the screens a month ago in one week's hiatus.
