Mughizh’s Maayakkara song release: Foot-tapping lyrical video of Vijay Sethupathi starrer family drama

Vijay Sethupathi had earlier released the official trailer of his upcoming film Mughizh. Featuring his daughter Sreeja Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role, the movie talks about her character’s bond with her pet dog. And now, the first single of the movie, named Maayakkara was dropped on the net today. The actor also took to social media to put up the announcement.

The latest first single, Maayakkara is a soulful and upbeat track, which is composed by Revaa and crooned by Govind Vasantha and Malvi Sundaresan. The lyrics for the track are written by Balaji Tharaneetharan. The lyrical video features montages of the cast of Mughizh that comprises Vijay Sethupathi, Sreeja Vijay Sethupathi and Regina Cassandra.

Portraying the role of a happy family in the movie, they are seen spending time petting their dog. Like every dog movie which brings tears to your eyes, this one also has the power to tingle your tear ducts. Ultimately, the five-minute single will make you listen to it on a loop.

Talking about the movie, Mughizh is bankrolled by the star under the banner of Vijay Sethupathi Productions. The upcoming feel-good family drama is helmed by Karthik Swaminathan, for which Sathya Ponmar has cranked up the cameras. Mughizh is going to be a one-hour web film, in which Vijay Sethupathi is launching his daughter as the lead. It is also the maiden project of Vijay Sethupathi Productions or VSP Productions.
