Indian business tycoon Mukesh Ambani received a death threat on Friday evening, threatening to shoot him if he failed to pay Rs 20 crores on an urgent basis. Mumbai Police have filed a case in the matter. This news comes up at a time when Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival is going on at a grand scale. The festival commenced last evening and was attended by famous global celebrities like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sonam Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Karisma Kapoor to name a few.
Mukesh Ambani receives death threat
Mukesh Ambani – the richest person in Asia – received a death threat last evening. The police is investigating the matter. News agency ANI confirmed the development this morning. “Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani received a death threat on email on 27th October, threatening to shoot him if he failed to pay Rs 20 crores. Case registered under sections 387 and 506 (2) IPC in Gamdevi PS of Mumbai: Police,” read the tweet by the news agency.
