A day after announcing the streaming date of Mumbai Diaries 26/11, Amazon Prime Video has unveiled the teaser of the upcoming web series. The show created by Nikkhil Advani is set against the backdrop of the 2008 Mumbai attacks. In the medical drama, the makers have shown the other side of the story wherein the hospitals which were under attack made sure to treat the victims and keep them alive no matter what.
In the new teaser, Konkona Sen Sharma and Mohit Raina are seen as doctors who are dreading while looking at the situation. But they don't stop their work. The lead stars are joined by Tina Desai, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Satyajeet Dubey, Natasha Bharadwaj, Mrunmayee Deshpande and Prakash Belawadi in supporting roles.
The 55-second long teaser is intense to the core and will take back to the year 2008 which shook not only the city of Mumbai but the whole world too.
Mumbai Diaries 26/11 will be out on Amazon Prime Video on September 9, 2021.
The makers revealed that the web series depicts the untold story of doctors, nurses, paramedics and hospital staff who worked tirelessly to save lives during the terror attacks that ravaged the city on November 26, 2008.
The series will show the events that were unfolded in the Emergency Room of a government hospital. It will also be exploring the challenges faced by the medical staff at the hospital.
The intense medical drama will also give a glimpse into the other first responders across the city of Mumbai in dealing with a crisis of immense magnitude.
With Mumbai Diaries 26/11, Konkona is making her web series debut and the show was announced back in November 2020. The actor however has been a part of movies that were directly released on OTT, namely Cargo (special appearance), Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare and Ajeeb Daastaans.
