Director and actor Sasikumar’s upcoming film My Lord, is set to release in theatres in February. The film, which co-stars actor Chaithra J Achar, has found a Valentine’s Day slot, as the makers announced the release date on Sunday.
My Lord release date: When is Sasikumar film hitting theatres?
Director-turned-actor Sasikumar who had starred in last year’s blockbuster film Tourist Family, has another film coming in theatres this month. His film My Lord, will be releasing on big screens on February 13, the makers announced through a social media post on Sunday. It will also have Kannada actor Chaithra J Achar as the female lead.
The trailer of My Lord was released by the makers earlier. The story is set in the village and revolves around a man's identity who seems to be off and non-existent in the government records. Without revealing the plot, the trailer shows how the protagonist gets stuck in a series of problems, which questions his identity and existence in his own country.
My Lord marks Chaithra’s second film in Tamil. She previously starred in the 2025 family drama 3 BHK. Apart from Sasikumar and Chaithra, My Lord also stars actors Asha Sharath, Guru Somasundaram, Jayaprakash, Gopi Nainar, and Vasumithra among others, in supporting roles. With Vijay’s Jana Nayagan release still in uncertainty over CBFC issues, various small and medium budget films are finding release slots in February. Radikaa Sarathkumar’s Thaai Kizhavi will release in theatres on February 20. Films like Ken Karunas’ Youth and Pradeep Ranganathan’s LIK are expected to come this month, but no word on the release dates so far.
