The makers of Malayalam upcoming film Nadikar has dropped the first song from the movie today (March 30). The soundtrack titled ‘Omal Kanave’ is sung by Job Kurian. Yakzan Gary Pereira and Neha Nair have composed the music for this song. Vinayak Sasikumar has penned the lyrics for the soundtrack.
The origin story of the movie's main character, superstar David Padikkal, who lost his father when he was a young boy, is depicted in the music video. David's mother drops him off at a convent boarding school after finding a new husband, and leaves the country with him.
In a fleeting cameo, Chandhunadh portrays David's father, and Divya Pillai plays his mother. It makes clear of David's difficult upbringing and his longing for his parents' warmth and affection.
