Naga Chaitanya, Venkat Prabhu's NC 22 pre-look unveiled, here's when the first look poster will be released

The long wait comes to an end for Naga Chaitanya's fans. The makers of his next, tentatively titled NC 22, have come up with a pre-look of the film. It features the actor as a cop, Shiva, sporting an aggressive expression locked down by other cops with their hands. A few guns are also seen pointed towards him. 

As if this isn't enough, the star's fans are elated with the announcement that the movie's official first look poster will be unveiled tomorrow, on the occasion of his birthday. The title of the project is also likely to be revealed.  

Tipped as an action thriller, the film directed by Venkat Prabhu has been produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen. Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja have been roped in to compose music for the film. This is the father-son duo's second outing together after Maamanithan.

Abburi Ravi has penned dialogues for NC 22 while SR Kathir has handled cinematography. Krithi Shetty plays the female lead in the project which stars Aravind Swami, Sarath Kumar, Premgi Amaren and Priyamani among others in important characters. Venkat Raajen is in charge of editing while Mahesh Mathew is choreographing action scenes.  

NC 22 marks Venkat Prabhu's debut in Tollywood. There was news earlier that the filmmaker is teaming up with Naga Chaitanya for the remake of his hit Tamil movie Maanaadu. However, he clarified that NC 22 will be a fresh project. 

Movie buffs are waiting to know if the film will be released as a bilingual movie, in both Tamil and Telugu. The movie will be released in 2023.
