Nagarjuna-Amala, Suriya-Jyotika to unveil the first look of DQ33, starring Dulquer, Kajal and Aditi

The makers of DQ33 had announced earlier that the project's first look will be revealed on December 21 at 11 am. Now, the film's director Brindha Gopal has surprised movie buffs by announcing that two of the most adored star couples of south cinema will unveil the same. 

Jyotika-Suriya and Amala-Nagarjuna will unveil the first look of Hey Sinamika, which stars Dulquer Salmaan, Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles. Both Brindha and Viacom18 Studios, which is bankrolling the project, has announced the news from their respective social media handles. 

Dulquer had taken to his social media accounts to express the excitement over the same, while Kajal tweeted, "Something exciting before the year ends. Stay tuned #DQ33 First look out on the 21st of Dec! (sic)." Interestingly, Aditi came up with the Tamil tweet, the translation of what Kajal posted, "புத்தாண்டு தொடங்குவதற்கு முன் உங்களை கொண்டாட வைக்க வருகிறது."

The project, which marks the directorial debut of leading choreographer Brindha, went on floors on earlier 2020, before the lockdown came into being. The movie, which is billed as a love story, was wrapped up towards the end of the year. 

Earlier, all the three stars had expressed excitement on being part of the project. They had posted a few pictures from the set as well, which included the photos of Brindha, too. The movie's story, screenplay, dialogues and lyrics have been written by Madhan Karky.

Govind Vasantha and Preetha Jayaraman are Hey Sinamika's music composer and cinematographer respectively. Mani Ratnam, Suhasini, Bhagyaraj and Khushbu were a few others who attended the movie's launch. Nakshatra Nagesh, RJ Vijay and Abishek Kumarare expected to play pivotal characters in the project.
