The film directed by S Darshan features Meenakshii Chaudhary as the female lead
Actor Sushanth, after two memorable outings like Chi La Sow and Alaa Vaikuntapurramulo, is gearing up for the release of his action-thriller Ichata Vahanumulu Niluparadu in theatres on August 27. The film, directed by S Darshan, also stars Meenakshii Chaudhary, Vennela Kishore, Priyadarshi, Venkat and Abhinav Gomatam in significant roles. Yesteryear actress, filmmaker Bhanumathi's grandson Ravi Shankar Shastri is producing the film in collaboration with Ekta Shastri and Harish Koyalagundla. Sushanth's uncle, actor-producer Akkineni Nagarjuna had unveiled the trailer of the film earlier today.
Sushanth is introduced as a happy-go-lucky corporate employee in the trailer, who falls for his free-spirited, good looking colleague. However, their love story is far from smooth. His girlfriend has a goon-like brother who can't tolerate the presence of a love interest in his sister's life. He leaves no stone unturned to stop Sushanth from returning to his home after a secret meeting with his girlfriend. How will he get out of this tricky situation? Priyadarshi, Vennela Kishore play Sushanth's on-screen friends, while Venkat and Abhinav Gomatam are seen in negative roles.
Ichata Vahanumulu Niluparadu promises to be a story-driven plot with an interesting mix of action and comedy. Meenakshii Chaudhary has an impressive screen presence. It's interesting to see Abhinav Gomatam in a role quite contrasting from his comical sidekick image. Venkat, who was seen in aha's OTT film Run, makes a comeback with this actioner as well. Vennela Kishore is in his usual element while not much has been revealed about Priyadarshi's role in the trailer.
The film will lock horns with another biggie, Sridevi Soda Centre, directed by Karuna Kumar, that stars Sudheer Babu, Anandi in lead roles. However, unlike Sridevi Soda Centre, a regular commercial fare, Ichata Vahanumulu Niluparadu has a touch of novelty in its plot. Pravin Lakkaraju has scored the music for the film, with the cinematography by M Sukumar and edits by Garry BH. Suresh Baba and R Bhaskar have written the dialogues for the same.
