Nakul Roshan Sahdev could not let go of Vaayu even after completing the shoot for Candy

Nakul Roshan Sahdev certainly seems to be finding his feet as an actor. His role on Gully Boy and Pagglait saw him hold his own among some of the biggest names in Bollywood, and who can forget his compelling performance as the young man who, quite literally, gets his just desserts in Karma Cafe. The young star will next be seen in the upcoming Voot Select web series Candy, a murderous tale of mysteries unfolding in a small hill town.

In a conversation with TellyChakkar, Nakul Roshan Sahdev said he plays Vaayu, who is very fond of honest people. Viewers will see a different side of him in the role, which he is confident people will adore. He also let in on some of the preps he did to perfectly emulate Vaayu, especially about the distinctive body language of the character, parts of which he had difficulty shaking off even after he finished shooting. One of Vaayu’s highlights, he said, is his transparency, which Sahdev says he wants to bring into his life.

The Pagglait actor was also full of praise for his talented co-stars, especially Richa Chadha, whom he calls one of the ‘purest’ artists he has come across. He recalls how the actress took care of him on the sets and calls the experience of shooting for the show simply ‘great’.

Set in the fictional town of Rudrakund, Candy revolves around a series of murders that plague the town. The web series, created by Debojit Das Purkayastha, also stars Ronit Roy and Richa Chadha in lead roles.
