Nana Patekar used to beat up directors? Vivek Agnihotri 'received warning' about The Vaccine War actor

The Vaccine War starring Nana Patekar, Pallavi Joshi and Raima Sen is one of the highly awaited films this month. The makers dropped the official trailer on Tuesday and garnered immense praise for the story, cast and more. Recently, director Vivek Agnihotri revealed how a lot of people in the industry warned him against Patekar and claimed that he used to beat directors.

In a recent interview with ABP Live, the filmmaker shared that convincing Patekar to sign his film was difficult. Agnihotri further added that the actor has not done any mainstream project and he badly wanted to work with him, however, everybody told him that the Tiranga actor bets up the directors and even abuses them. "So, I met and told him that he can kill me, but has to do a good job,” The Vaccine War director added.

Meanwhile, talking to the news portal about his most anticipated film of the year, Agnihotri mentioned that this story must be told to the world as he believes that it was one of the greatest scientific achievements of Indian scientists.

The Vaccine War release date

The medical thriller film also stars Anupam Kher in a special cameo appearance along with the Jawan fame Girija Oak, Nivedita Bhattacharya, Sapthami Gowda, Mohan Kapur and Yagya Turlapathi in key roles. The Vaccine War is slated to have a theatrical release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages on September 28, 2023.
