RRR, OG producers DVV Entertainment backs the film that’ll go on floors soon

Nani is in the form of his life as an actor. He’s just scored his first pan Indian hit with this year’s action drama Dasara and the stars are shining bright for his upcoming film Hi Nanna as well. Hi Nanna, set to release on December 7, is an emotional drama which has him sharing screenspace alongside Mrunal Thakur and Kiara Khanna. He has officially confirmed another film today.
As reported by OTTplay previously, Nani and Vivek Athreya are joining hands again after the dramedy Ante Sundaraniki. Currently referred to as Nani 31, the film will be produced by DVV Danayya under DVV Entertainment, the makers of SS Rajamouli’s RRR and Pawan Kalyan’s OG. A glimpse will be unveiled on October 23 and the film will be formally launched on October 24.
“#Nani31 it is…The most lovable combo of our Natural Star @NameisNani & #VivekAthreya is back. UNCHAINED on Oct 23rd. Muhurtham is on Oct 24th. Get ready to witness thrills, chills, and fun,” the makers, wrote confirming the news. Reports suggest that the film has been titled Saripodha Sanivaram. Priyanka Mohan has already come on board as the female lead.
Nani 31 will be Nani’s second collaboration with Priyanka Mohan after the action comedy Gang Leader. S J Suryah is in talks to play the antagonist in the film. As confirmed during Ante Sundaraniki’s promotions by Vivek Athreya himself, the film is an action drama. Either Anirudh Ravichander or G V Prakash Kumar is expected to compose music for the project.
There are rumours that Nani has confirmed his other projects after Nani 31 as well. Besides the Sailesh Kolanu-directed Hit 3, the third part of the crime thriller franchise, the actor is slated to join hands with Don maker Cibi Chakravarthy for a commercial film and a rustic drama with Dasara director Srikanth Odela.
