Nani shares a deleted scene from Gowtam Tinnanuri's Jersey on the film's third anniversary

The Hindi remake of Telugu flick Jersey which is releasing under the same title hit the headlines multiple times for its release postponement. The movie which was finally supposed to hit the screens on April 14 was pushed to April 22 as KGF: Chapter 2 was releasing in a huge number of theatres across the country. 

Interestingly, today marks the third anniversary of the Tollywood movie's release. Nani, Shraddha Srinath, Sathyaraj and Sanusha among others essayed pivotal roles in the film which has been directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri.

On the special occasion, Nani has come up with a surprise for his fans and other movie lovers. He took to his Twitter page to share a deleted scene from the acclaimed film. The excited actor tweeted, "3 years Sharing a deleted scene from jersey today. This was one of @gowtam19‘s favourite but couldn’t make it to the cut. Memories :) (sic)."

The two-minute delete video features Sanjay Swaroop, who played Shraddha's father, offering money to Nani to get his job back to ensure that his daughter and grandson lead a happy life. He also asks him to stop living in dreams and suggests him to realize his weaknesses.

An emotional Nani replies that he believes in living in the present and expresses confidence in chasing his dreams even as Sanjay continues to call him a loser. Movie buffs are looking forward to seeing how Shahid Kapoor is going to play the character in his style.

Gowtam himself has helmed the Bollywood version which has Mrunal Thakur playing the female lead in it. Pankaj Kapur will be seen essaying the role Sathyaraj enacted in the Telugu version. Anirudh Ravichander has scored music for the original version while the Sachet–Parampara duo has composed for the songs in the Hindi version.
