Nani unveils the glimpse of Hit 2, starring Adivi Sesh in the lead

HIT: The First Case, starring Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in lead roles, was released in 2020. The murder mystery, which had opened to positive reviews from critics and audience alike, was directed by Sailesh Kolanu. The movie's ending had hinted at a sequel to it. 

Now, actor-producer Nani, who is presenting its sequel, has revealed a surprise about its cast. He has announced that Hit 2 aka Hit: The Second Case has Adivi Sesh playing the lead in it. Meenakshi Chaudhary will be seen playing the female lead in the movie. 

Wishing a happy birthday to Adivi, Nani's tweet read, "Bigger,Better and edge of the blade #HIT2 Happy birthday to our KD @AdiviSesh With #Major and #HIT2 you are going to have the best year yet. Here’s the surprise for you (sic)." He posted a one-minute glimpse video from the movie, titled 'Glimpse of KD' which has Adivi seen cracking a case as a smart cop, named KD.

An elated Adivi thanked Nani for releasing the same and tweeted, "Thank you SO much for the birthday surprise dear @NameisNani Your faith, support and advice has been there for me since day one! Lovely to be a part of #HIT2 In @KolanuSailes‘s vision (sic)."

Rao Ramesh, Bhanu Chandar, Posani Krishna Murali and Thanikella Bharani among others play important roles in the film which has cinematography by S Mani Kandan and editing by Garry BH. 

John Stewart Eduri has composed the background score for the project, the release date of which, is expected to be announced soon.
