Narayaneente Moonnaanmakkal out on OTT: Where to watch Joju George and Suraj Venjaramoodu’s Malayalam family drama

Narayaneente Moonnaanmakkal, starring Joju George and Suraj Venjaramoodu, has made a quiet entry into the OTT space. The moving Malayalam film is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Narayaneente Moonnaanmakkal on Prime Video 

Narayaneente Moonnaanmakkal started streaming on Amazon Prime Video on March 27, 2025. Joju George’s movie is available only in Malayalam with English subtitles.  

Sharan Venugopal’s movie, which released in theatres on February 7, 2025, has made its OTT premiere within exactly a month of its theatrical release. Like what the title means, the movie narrates the tale of Narayani’s three sons. Upon its theatrical release, the heartwarming film won positive reviews but did not create waves at the box office. Now, with the OTT debut, Narayaneente Moonnaanmakkal is expected to win more love and appreciation that it rightfully deserves.

Narayaneente Moonnaanmakkal plot and cast

Joju George, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Alencier Ley Lopez play the lead roles, as the three sons of Narayani. The family drama follows the three brothers as they all come together at their ancestral home after ages, as their mother is on her deathbed. 

Garggi Ananthan and Thomas Mathew play the youngsters in the film, which takes a close look at family relationships in today’s era. Sajitha Madathil, Sarasa Balussery and Shelly are also part of the film. 

Sharan Venugopal, who won a National Award for his short film Oru Paathiraa Swapnam Pole, made his feature film debut with Narayaneente Moonnaanmakkal. Cinematographer Appu Prabhakar and composer Rahul Raj also add value to the film.

Hello Mummy on OTT

Another recent Malayalam film to make its OTT premiere on Prime Video was Hello Mummy, which dropped on the platform on February 28, 2025. Aishwarya Lekshmi and Sharafudheen play the lead roles in the horror-comedy, which released in theatres in November 2024. Johny Antony, Jagadish, and Aju Varghese are also part of this film.
