Kriti Sanon received the Best Actress award at the 69th National Film Awards. The actress won a special honour for her performance in Mimi. Kriti shared the National Award with Alia Bhatt. She was also honoured for her pathbreaking performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi. After the award ceremony was over, Sanon celebrated her big win with her parents.
While Kriti's parents celebrated her victory, the actress missed having her sister Nupur Sanon around. The Mimi actress posted picture-perfect family portraits on social media.

Kriti Sanon took to her official Instagram account and documented her special day in the form of pictures. Sharing snaps with her mom and dad, the actress wrote, "The feeling is not easy to describe in words.. Today will be one of the most memorable days of my life! Missed you nupursanon (sic)," Sanon's parents' faces beamed with happiness.
The actress also shared a clip featuring her receiving the award from the President of India Droupadi Murmu. "The BIG Moment!! Missed you Dinoo & laxman.utekar !! So so much (sic)," she captioned her post.
