Varun Sandesh is one of the most popular actors in Telugu cinema and has delivered big hits like Happy Days and Kotha Bangaru Lokam. However, a series of flops set him back in his career. Over the last year or so, Varun has slowly been getting back on track.
He is now all set to make his OTT debut with a Zee5 web series titled Nayanam. The platform announced this today, delighting Varun’s fans. The series, directed by Swathi Prakash, consists of six episodes in total.
Along with the announcement, Zee5 also revealed the show’s OTT release date. Nayanam will be available for streaming from December 19, 2025, and once it lands on OTT, you can also stream it on OTTplay.
Nayanam is a psychological thriller that explores the human psyche and obsession. Varun is said to play the intense and unhinged role of Dr. Nayan in the series, whose teaser will be released soon.
Speaking about the show, Varun said, “Nayanam is a new chapter in my career. I am getting to play something very intense and unique for the first time, and I cannot wait to showcase what we have made.”
