The film was announced on a grand note a few weeks ago, and we at OTTplay have already revealed that Anil has started casting for the film. Names of Aishwarya Rajesh made headlines, but there was no truth in it. Now, news about the makers approaching Nayanthara has gone viral in film circles.

One of the sources close to the unit has told us that the makers indeed approached Nayanthara to romance Chiranjeevi but she shocked them by quoting a whopping Rs 18 crore as her fee. The amount quoted had shocked the makers, and they started looking for other options, added the source.
Nayanthara is a massive star, and Chiranjeevi is quite fond of her, and he was the one who suggested the Aramm and Maya star for the female lead's role. But now, the makers have no choice but to look for another option. Some time back, there was also news that Uunchai and Jabariya Jodi star, Parineeti Chopra, was also approached for the film, but that also ended as a rumor.
