Nayanthara, Vignesh Shivan become parents to twin babies Uyir and Ulagam, social media goes berserk

Nayanthara-Vignesh has been regarded as one of the perfect couples in Kollywood ever since the duo made their relationship official. The adorable couple tied the knot at a grand event held at Mahabalipuram a few months ago. Fans of the actress and the filmmaker were excited to see them getting hitched.

Now, the couple has revealed that they have become parents to twin babies, leaving their fans and others delighted and surprised. Vignesh took to his social media page to inform the news and posted pictures of himself, Nayan and the baby boys. 

His post read, "Nayan & Me have become Amma & Appa. We are blessed with twin baby Boys (sic)." Vignesh added that this was possible with prayers and their ancestors’ blessings. He sought blessings from fans and well- wishers and revealed the children's names, Uyir and Ulagam.

Fans of the couple were quick to storm the comment section on social media to express excitement and surprise. Some of them even came up with funny, but positive memes and wished nothing but happiness to the parents. A few celebs, too, wished the couple and congratulated them.

On the work front, Nayanthara, who was last seen in the Chiranjeevi-starrer Godfather, will be next seen along with Prithviraj in Malayalam film Gold, directed by Alphonse Puthren. Her debut Bollywood movie Jawan in which she is paired opposite Shah Rukh Khan will release in 2023.

She has Iraivan and Connect, too, in Tamil which will release soon. Vignesh, on the other hand, previously made Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, in which Nayan played one of the lead roles. His next outing, AK 62, will have Ajith essaying the lead in it.
