We had earlier reported that Prime Video has acquired the streaming rights of actor Dhanush’s third directorial Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam aka NEEK. The streaming platform has officially announced the OTT release date of the film. Keep reading to know when NEEK is set to premiere.

Actor Dhanush, who has already proven his acting prowess through some of his best blockbusters, recently directed his third film titled Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam. The film is shortened as NEEK, and released in theatres in February. Following its theatrical run, the film is set to release on the streaming platform. With Prime Video bagging the OTT rights, Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam is set to premiere on March 21.

Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam is a youth romance drama, which caters to the Gen Z of this era. The cast features a mix of young and debutant actors. It includes Pavish Narayan, Anikha Surendran, Matthew Thomas, Priya Prakash Varrier, Rabiya Khatoon, Ramya Ranganathan and Venkatesh Menon, along with senior actors like Sarathkumar, Naren, and Saranya Ponvannan. GV Prakash has scored the music with Dhanush backing the film under Wunderbar Films.

The film revolves around two young lovers who separate for certain reasons. After the girl invites the boy to her wedding, it sets off a series of events. The film’s climax hinted at a sequel.

Meanwhile, Dhanush is working on his fourth directorial titled Idly Kadai, in which he will also star in the leading role. While the film is set to release on April 10, there are speculations that it will be postponed given Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly is also set for release on the same day.
